This 6-hour, interactive training will provide the tools to teach American Heart Association BLS and/or Heartsaver classes according to the 2025 AHA current guidelines and science.
The CPR Instructor Training includes:
- The 6 Hour Training Course to prepare you to become a CPR Instructor
- Your CPR Instructor eManual
- Your CPR Essentials Online Learning Course
- Our Training Center Faculty Member to help answer questions and observe your first CPR Class
- Your CPR Instructor Certification Card
Precourse materials including the Instructor Candidate Paperwork, Online Essentials Course will be sent to you via email after completing registration.
All precourse materials will be due back to the Training Center no later than 3 days prior to the course date.
Instructors will be reponsible for purchasing/obtaining their own CPR Equipment including CPR Manikins, AED Trainers, Pocket Masks, Bag Valve Masks, Student Manuals and eCards.
Basic Life Support Instructors must have a current AHA Basic Life Support CPR Certification. Basic Life Support Instructors will be able to both Basic Life Support and Heartsaver classes to their students.
Heartsaver Instructors must have a current AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED Certification (with or without First Aid). Heartsaver Instructors will only be allowed to teach Heartsaver classes to their students.

All AHA instructors are required to utilize the 2025 AHA curriculum. CPR Solutions offers new instructors the option to purchase AHA digital videos to support course instruction. Once purchased, the digital videos will be emailed to the instructor using the email address provided at checkout. Two digital video options are available for purchase: Basic Life Support (BLS) digital videos or Heartsaver digital videos. Please note that these are two separate disciplines.
